Carolyn Ruth

I've been a follower of Jesus since I was four years old. I've been married to my husband for 26 years, and we have 7 children. 

Professionally, my undergraduate and graduate degrees are in the field of education, but I haven't worked in education for several years now. I was a pastor for two years and stepped down in 2023. I now work as the COO of a medical scheduling company. I worked for two years as an assistant pastor, and my husband and I are now in the process of planting a church. I received my training and certification for Spiritual Direction through Sustainable Faith, and I am a member of the CSDA, the primary professional Christian Spiritual Directors organization. I am also a certified mediator, trained through the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center.

I have 3 cats, and love gardening. I also have apparently reached the stage in life where I have a bird identification app on my phone.

I believe that God is always present and moving in each of our lives, and we have the opportunity to respond to God's ongoing invitation. He loves you completely, exactly where you are.
